Ben Chance and his Eagle Scout Project
My name is Ben Chance. I am a Life Scout from Troop 308 in San Luis Obispo and am working on becoming an Eagle Scout. For my Eagle project, I spearheaded the renovation of a 1974 Piper Warrior airplane and arranged to donate it to a Boys & Girls Club in Los Angeles for use on their playground. Unfortunately, the club can no longer commit to hosting the airplane as they may be moving.

My team of volunteers has put in over 700 hours on this renovation. We've raised over $4,000, and there are funds to support first-year maintenance. Ben will brought the aircraft to our EAA meeting and is looking for a permanent home for it.
